Map Your Show + Expo Harvester Data Pull/Query

Below is an overview of the integration we offer through Cadmium EventTech Integration Services to pull basic company information from Map Your Show into the Expo Harvester. This integration does not pull in product information.

PREREQUISITE

Expo Harvester must be contracted in conjunction with this integration.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The third-party system is the source of truth. Exhibitors CANNOT log into the Expo Harvester to submit additional information or complete tasks.

Description

Exhibiting companies and their booth assignments are pulled into the Expo Harvester. The default frequency of the data pull is daily but can be customized to hourly closer to the event.

Considerations

  • The integration is simply a pull of basic company data and does not support product information. See field mapping below.
  • We do not support pulling in booth staff or users associated with an exhibiting company. This type of integration is not meant for users to log into or for data to be added/changed in Expo Harvester. Map Your Show would remain the source of truth for exhibitor data.
  • If a client offers booth sharing / pavilions (multiple exhibitors associated with the same booth), we need to discuss the data structure in advance to ensure we can meet the client's expectations.
    • If there are co-exhibitors and/or additional listings that need to show in the mobile app, we will need to establish a cutoff date for the pull, because a product specialist will have to manually create hidden booths for those companies to show in the mobile app. If we continue pulling data, all that work will be overwritten.
  • Once the integration is complete, it is the client's responsibility to audit the list and ensure all companies are being pulled in that they expect to see.
  • We encourage you to periodically do a spot check of count on our side versus Map Your Show, leading up to the event, to ensure everything seems to be pulling correctly.
  • There is no way to integrate a floor plan but we can manually map one in Expo Harvester. Booth assignments will automatically be updated when a pull is made from Map Your Show; however, all changes to the floor plan itself (cutting and merging booths, etc.) will need to be updated manually in Expo Harvester by the client.

Required Credentials

We need the following for all integrations (repeat or new):

  • Show code
  • List of booths to map (if applicable)

If new, we also need:

  • Password
