Eventscribe Registration Member Lookup

Overview

Membership integrations are optional, for clients who would like the convenience of validating a registrant’s membership status with their AMS provider during registration. 

Description

The registrant stays on the Eventscribe Registration form throughout validation. They enter credentials, either email address or member ID, and we query the AMS's endpoints to pull the information needed for membership validation and registration pricing. 

You are able to use the following member fields to set the registration pricing structure:

• Member Category
• Member Sub-Categories
• Member Level

Lookup Methods:

The following lookup methods are supported:

• Email address
  • Note, if the AMS does not have a unique email constraint, the member lookup will only display the first email returned
• Member ID

Lookup Modes

The following lookup modes are supported:

• Individual

Member ID Requirements

Member ID acts as the unique identifier between Eventscribe Registration and the AMS. The AMS must return the Member ID in the following format that is supported by Eventscribe Registration:

• Numerical integer value
• Maximum of 10 digits
